Meet our Team
-

Alexandra Johnson (AJ) -Suresh
Owner
It all started with my dog Jack, and now we have an entire pack. Born and raised in MN, the dogs and I have competed in many dog sports, and in our free time we like to camp, go backpacking, play soccer, and enjoy time with friends and family. I provide advice on products, training, lessons and other resources for dog sports!
I was on Team USA for 4-Dog Rig, held an alternate spot for 6-Dog Rig for the World Championships, and participate in Mid Distance Sled races annually in the Midwest.
Locally, I help teach the community about dogsledding and volunteer as a director on the K9 Powered Sports board. In a past life, I was a teacher in the MN public schools!

Sucheth Suresh
Bike Guy/ Husband
Sucheth helps with technology and offers overall bike knowledge for our team. He enjoys spoiling our dogs with home-cooked birthday meals and a game of tug. During the week, Such, is often weightlifting, playing soccer, or mountain biking.
He competed at Worlds for 1- Dog Bikejoring and Men’s Canicross.
-

Jack
CEO
This boy started it all. He’s been around the block and nothing phases him. Jack is always available to say hi with a smile and to personally test treats. He has tried many dog sports, raced in bikejoring and can also help demonstrate any harnesses/gear for a dog with deep chests.
He’s a velcro dog who would do anything for me. My heart dog once turned around a 6-Dog team because I fell off. He would never leave me behind.

Grumbles
Biggest Ham
Grumbles is an Alaskan Husky and comes from a long line of proven champions. He is an amazing dog, and is one of our leaders. He has won several awards, and is the biggest ham ever when meeting new people. He also screams to go running, so clearly genetics have done their job.
-

Ari
Greeter
The oldest member of our pack, Ari is a retired Alaskan. She is very laid back unless she’s hiking, or chasing a squirrel.
You’ll often find her out and about with us, since she’s the perfect lady at breweries and so non-chalant everywhere she goes.
-

Payne
Food Specialist
Payne is Grumble’s dad, and joined us from the northern MN kennel, Underdog Sled Dogs. He loves running with the pack and he’s also super strong! His favorite thing to do when he meets new people is boop them on the face and then receive butt scratches. He patrols the yard, ready to alert us to people or dogs.
-

Remus
Cato Board Master
Remus is an Alaskan Husky from Chisolm, MN. He’s full of energy and starts vibrating with energy when it’s time for a run. He’s inquisitive and intelligent, and enjoys holding toys in his mouth and running around the yard chasing the other dogs. Very bashful until he really knows you, and then he’s a lump that melts into your lap.
-

Sirius
Toy Stealer
Sirius is a mutt turned sled dog, and has some wonderful working-dog breeds: GSP and Belgian Shepherd. He has a lot of herding instincts, and in his spare time he lies in wait until the perfect moment that he can surreptitiously take toys while other dogs are distracted. He is stealthy and enjoys a good brewery.
He was diagnosed with Lymphoma Nov 2025 and we’re hoping he has many more good days with us, after having some treatment to prolong his life. Currently has good energy and impressive muscles.
-

Friday
Kiss Giver
Friday is a small Alaskan Husky. She’s very sweet and will automatically give kisses. She has done well with 4 dog rig and biking, and her best friend is Remus. She’s a pro at fetch, and finding critters too! Little jumping shrimp in the dog yard.
-

Ollie
Looking for a Retirement Home
Ollie joins us from Underdog Sled Dogs in Cook, MN. She’s gentle, sweet, and likes to let out her morning howl in the morning when we greet her. She raced with us for two seasons and is currently looking for a retirement home!
-

Zorro
Teenager of Destruction
Zorro is a yearling and related to Payne and Grumbles on his mom’s side. His dad is from Joanna Oberg’s kennel.
This insane tornado of a dog has been a welcome addition to the team, and a chaotic monster in our home lol. He is in charge of fetch and loves playing keep-away with his dog friends. Surprisingly “herdy” he will stalk and freeze while playing. He can’t wait for cooler weather and constantly communicates his disgust of summer with overdramatic dinosaur noises.
-

Littlefoot
Tiny baby Dino
Littlefoot joins us from Montana, she’s a sprint-racing Eurohound comprised of German Shorthaired Pointer, Alaskan Husky, and Saluki.
She’s sure to be the fastest thing around, definitely outruns all the dogs in the yard. Her personality is infectious, goofy, and indignant. Sucheth will be bikejoring with her primarily, but I may borrow her for some shorter races!
-

Swiper
Chompy Fellow
Swiper joins us from Tomahawk, WI with his mom. He’s a yearling so he’s a bit rambunctious. Everything is new to him, he’s speedy and wants to wrestle with everyone. Can’t wait to see how he enjoys his first races this fall/winter.
-

Olive
Momma Bear
Olive joins us with her son Swiper from WI. She has experience as a lead dog, in mono sports and in team. She has participated in numerous races in her lifetime, winning several last season, and will be an excellent addition to the team. She’s also quite springy and loves children!

New Dog?!
Ya never know!
